The problem with reviews, is if a customer has something good to say, they have to jump through many hoops to say it, but if they have something bad to say about your business, they willl get through whatever obstacles possible to get revenge. The best way to get a good review is to ask it immediately after a customer is satisfied. My customers receive a handwritten form, which they can submit to me for posting anomyously.
There are many places a customer can enter a review. Where they enter a review determines how you can deal with it .Be wary of directories that will not let a business owner respond to a bad review. Never reply when angry. Most reputabe sites will allow a business owner to respond.
If you are in a directory, where you cannot respond, collect positive reviews, submit those positive reviews and the negative review will go off the page. Be careful to not fake a review, because on some sites, this will get your business banned.
